This exhibition features work by famous artists from Botticelli to Braque spanning a period of more than 400 years from the Italian renaissance to the 20th century. Among the 55 masterpieces loaned by the National Galleries of Scotland, Sandro Botticelli's The Virgin Adoring the Sleeping Christ Child (ca. 1485), has never before been seen in the United States until this tour. Works of some of the greatest names in art including Botticelli, Titian, Rembrandt, Vermeer, Gauguin, Monet, Picasso, Cezane are on display.
