Patricia Wilt was born and raised in Cumberland, Md and now resides in nearby Hyndman, Pa. where she raises and shows Miniature Horses. Over the years she has worked in many different mediums ranging from Graphite to Soft Pastel, to Watercolor and Colored Pencil. Her main love though, is Acrylic. The majority of her paintings are done in this medium. Her painting style is a happy mix of Impressionist and Realism. Many of her works portray landmarks in Western Maryland. However, she has a deep love for animals and it shows through in most of her paintings. Look closely, sometimes they are hard to spot, but they are there! . Patricia is a working artist. She does a good bit of commissioned work, mostly Pet Portraiture. She spends approximately 4-6 hours per day painting in her studio every day of the week.
