Cumberland native Martin L. Heavner is awarding-winning amateur photographer living in Frederick, Maryland, and Bedford Valley, Pennsylvania.
He has exhibited his images at the Maryland State House, Governor’s Mansion, Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, and galleries throughout the region.
He frequently judges photography club competitions and was a juror for the multi-media Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts in State College, PA, considered one of the country’s top arts festivals.
A member of the Allegany Arts Council, Martin is a graduate of Fort Hill High School, West Virginia University, and Frostburg State University.
